Badge Information

The Pass system will not be in operation at Royal Ascot, however Pass card holders should bring these for ease of identification. Owners’, Trainers’ and Jockeys' badges are hand-written, named and non-transferable badges which are prepared in advance to alleviate congestion on the day. Please note: children aged between 10 and 17 will be charged for a child’s ticket to enter the Racecourse.

BADGE COLLECTION

The Owners’ and Trainer’ Desk is at the eastern end of Car Park 2, opposite the racecourse. All Owner/Trainers badges will be available for collection at this point. Tea and coffee will be available at this facility with a meeting area for owners.

COMPLIMENTARY BADGES

An owner, joint owner, registered partnership or syndicate with a runner will be entitled to a total of six complimentary Owner/Trainer badges.  A form of identification may be requested. These named badges are non-transferable and valid only for the day on which the horse is declared to run.

ADDITIONAL BADGES

Owners, joint owners, partnerships and syndicates with a runner will be entitled to purchase an additional four badges. These additional badges will be named, are non-transferable, non-refundable and will admit to the Queen Anne Enclosure area and all dedicated Owner and Trainer facilities on the day, on which the horse is declared to run. 

BALLOTED OUT HORSES

If a horse is balloted out, the registered owner is entitled to two complementary Queen Anne Enclosure tickets and will be given the opportunity to purchase two more.

LICENSED TRAINERS WITH RUNNERS

A licensed trainer with a runner may obtain two daily non-transferable Owner/Trainer badges. One badge will need to be utilised by the licensed trainer as NTF badges are not valid. Trainers with runners on each of the five days of Royal Ascot will receive weekly badges. These badges allow entrance to the Queen Anne Enclosure areas of the racecourse and all dedicated Owner and Trainer facilities including the Owners Dining Room.

LICENSED TRAINERS WITHOUT RUNNERS

A licensed trainer without a runner may obtain two daily non-transferable Owner/Trainer swing badges that allow entrance to the Queen Anne Enclosure areas of the racecourse and Owners and Trainers’ bars. These badges are for the use of the licensed trainer and one other and must be collected by the licensed trainer. A form of identification may be requested. Please note these badges do not allow admittance to the Owners' Dining Room.

JOCKEYS' BADGES

Jockeys who are riding at the meeting will be issued with a non-transferable Owner/Trainer badge upon presentation of their Pass card at the Owners and Trainers Desk in car park 2, for security reasons this procedure is necessary to gain access into the racecourse and weighing room.  They are also entitled to claim for two daily non-transferable Owner/Trainer badges for guests. These badges allow entrance to the Queen Anne Enclosure areas of the Racecourse and all dedicated Owner and Trainer facilities.  Admittance to other Jockeys and PJA badge holders will be considered upon prior application to the PJA.

ROA, NTF, PJA AND RCA BADGES

These badges are NOT applicable at Royal Ascot.

BADGE APPLICATION TROUBLE SHOOTING

Please be aware that we have now incorporated the Owners and Trainers registration process into the Ascot Racecourse Accreditation platform.  The following information will help you:

STAGE ONE - registering
This will require initial registration and email verification to then complete your application.
The first time you visit you will be asked to create an account; this will then generate an email verification to the registered email address.
Clicking to verify the email will ask you to then register your details, note that these are then used to prepopulate your details on each application.
You are NOT required to add a photo for the Owners and Trainers accreditation so this can skipped.
Once you have completed your details you will then be able to apply for the relevant accreditation through the portal

STAGE TWO – applying for badges
The system will take you through a step-by-step process for owners and trainer separately, day by day. 
If you have MORE THAN ONE RUNNER you will need to make separate applications
You will receive an email confirmation for each application.

STAGE THREE – BADGE COLLECTION
Exclusively for owners and trainers at Royal Ascot, the Owners and Trainers’ Marquee is situated at the East end of Car Park 2.
Badges will be available for collection on the day of your runner. Please bring an official form of photo identification.
